Early testing of a MySpaceID application

We are developing a MySpaceID application which is in a very early stage. We'd like to do some early testing. If someone other than the developer of the application tries to use the application he's not redirected to the application after authentication but instead sent do myspace.com. I assume this is because he's not a developer of the application and the application has not yet been published. We cannot publish the application right now because it's to early and it would never be approved and we don't want to add all our test users to developers of this application. Adding users as testers seems broken / not supported. There is a column for developers but the column for testers is missing. There is an empty space right of the developers column. If I drag a friend to this empty space he will be tagged as tester and his background turns green but once I leaf this page and return later he lost the tester tag. Does this mean that one cannot add testers to an MySpaceID application? Is there a way to do testing without publishing the application or add all testers as developers? I would really appreciate if someone could help me and an update of the MySpaceID faq would also be helpful for someone having the same question.
