i have created a game application on myspace plateform. when i publish following issue is accured.i don't understand this

1. Age Verification.
Age restricted apps must clearly mention the restriction on the App Profile Page.

in app profile page is only option for age selecting.but there is no text box or option for varifation.

plz help me for solving this problem.

Hi, I've corrected the reasons for my apps denial and I'd like to know how to republish.

Reason 1: Profile and Home surface were not unique

Resolution: Removed the home surface

Reason 2: Canvas page did not load up in ie7

Resolution: fixed some javascript bugs in the code

8 Games Failed Approval Process?

"Downloads – Applications cannot require or contain any downloads or installations. Please read the Terms of Use and Application Guidelines."

My games don't require any special downloads for 98% of users since most people have Java installed. So are you really declining all Java applications? Or was this related to something unknown to me?

"Applications must offer functional utility to Users (e.g., the application is complete, all surfaces load and are properly formatted, no broken links, no typos, proper categorization). It is unclear what functionality your application provides to the MySpace user."

I don't have links, typos, and they are simple games with a single surface. So what gives? Do MySpace users not want to play games? I know I do and I am a MySpace user. What can I do to make a game have functionality to, "the MySpace user"?

Canvas does not load - well, it does 100%

Hi,

I have developed an application with 5 games inbuild in an iframe in canvas, which loads properly, double checked with IE 8 and Firefox on two different PC.

Still I get this message from staff:

Loading Issue – All app surfaces must properly load. Loading issues are found on the following surface(s). On canvas, contains no functionality or service for the user, fails to load. Please read the Terms of Use and Application Guidelines.

Please provide more details on this and what should I do?

I am able to test the app with developer account.However i am not able to authorize the app with a regular user using OAuth. My App doesn't have any web interface as it is intented to be used with a desktop client.Please help me on this.

App rejected for requiring a download

I have made several apps and never once have I complained about a rejection, i have always just fixed it and resubmitted. But I have to say something this time.

My app was denied because there was a link that gave users to option to download an archive of their messages if they wanted. The app was denied on the grounds that it required a download.

There is no required download to play the game a person can play for years and never download an archive of messages it was just a little something to let them save their messages if they wanted to before they deleted them.

I wish I had saved the rejection response but I just acknowleded it and removed the feature and resubmitted.

I understand if a game requires you to download and active x or something before you can play the game but just letting people pick to download a copy of the messages in html form doesn't even come close to a required download to play. It really sucks to that something that took five seconds to remove is going to make me have to wait all weekend before the game will be looked at again which really sucks as it was geared toward the new moon movie that came out today and i was trying to match the launch of the game with the launch of the movie.

As I said I have never once complained about a rejection but this one is just plain wrong.

I posted a topic before about my app not being approved because my app shows "app is private" message on the profile and home portians of the game- i feel that this is because the game is private and the issue will resolve once the game is public- when i posted this last topic i was told that if i resubmit the app it would be approved, i submitted it and it was denied again my app id number is= 144577 -

i just need someone who can help me get this approved or resolved.- the app has been ready for a week now and it needs to advance.

I Made the requested changes to my app but app was denied for same reasons. are the reviewers viewing

some kind of cached version of the app that doesn't show the changes. The text has changed on two points

that the reviewer rejects. and another rejection issue is the reviewer says

"clicking on the "x" link on the app invite form fails to load the content and the surface appears blank in IE 7. "

which is a Myspace loading issue which does not come from my app ( the links do open properly when I tested them in ie7 and firefox).

Can someone from the the Myspace team please give me some feedback

Hi, We had our app rejected for the following: "Loading Issue – All app surfaces must properly load. Loading issues are found on the following surface(s). So at first look it would seem like something is not loading, but then it says "no functionality or service for the user". We're not sure what exactly that means. Any help would be appreciated. 1. User Experience / Functionality:
On Canvas Surface, user enters valid credentials and clicks on the "Login" button. Clicking on the "THERE ARE NEW ATTACKS AGAINST YOU!! / Bug Tracker / Battle Logs / Global Message Board" etc links redirect the user to the main surface.

I received the above reason as to why my application was denied. I logged in with my game account and did not encounter the same issue. I had several others try and they did not encounter this issue. Are you sure you guys were ACTUALLY logged in because no one else who helped me try to duplicate the issue came across the same problem.

Can someone please help me? What's still missing in my app profile?

The app is a flash based one, it's just an audio player that allows people to play playlists created on an external website. A third party registration is needed on the website but no age restrictions are applied and there aren't particolar requirements (except of course for the flash player). Also, i used a stamp of the application itself as icon.

Any help will be very appreciated!!

App denied: content is cropped(?)

My app has been denied stating the following: "Application Formatting – Content must properly fit the application module. Content is cropped on the following surface(s). On canvas, content appears cropped. Please read the Terms of Use and Application Guidelines." I have tested the app in IE 6/7/8, FireFox 3, Safari 4 and Chrome 3 but cannot find where this alleged cropping is taking place on the canvas page. OpenSocial issue - how to solve?

Hi,

We have implemented the Invite Friend code from your sample codes and it works fine.

The only problem is that it takes long time to load, I should say very long time to load in IE7.

It works fine in FF and IE8 but in IE7 takes about 4-5mins to load the list of friends for inviting.

We haven't made any change to the sample code, so there should be something wrong with the opensocial api.

But my apps is being rejected due to following reason:

Loading Issues.
On Canvas Surface, clicking on the "Invite Friends" link does not load the content and displays the following message: "Loading..." in IE 7.

Now, how to deal with this thing? Should I suppose that there is something wrong with my implementation of invite frds code and spend days fixing it? or is it something wrong with opensocial?

Any help would be appreciated.

I been trying to fix this app for a while i even tried to delte it and i was going to do over but I talk to the company where i made this site from and told them the problem i been having and they told me the link is fine.

I do not know what is the deal i would like it to be live like it was but when you go to it it brings up forbidden and also do i need to keep having to have a different email for each app or can i have it all under one because am really lost on that part and do not want to get in any trouble with myspace at all :)

Four of my apps. Four.

They were denied a couple of days ago because "Right banner doesn't load, displays a placeholder.." blah blah blah.

SO, I TOOK THOSE BANNERS COMPLETELY OUT OF MY APPS! THERE IS NO CODE FOR BANNERS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF MY PAGES AT ALL!

And yet, I just had all my apps denied, "Right banner doesn't load.. displays a blank surface."

MAYBE THAT'S BECAUSE THERE IS NO BANNER THERE!
