In the developer console, our app si marked as live (App Status: Live), but when users are trying to reach it, they get "This application is currently pending review." Can you look into this bug?

unable to save/preview activity templates

I keep getting the following error when trying to save or preview my activity template:

Could not update template: href value does not match http://*.myspace.com/* ; href value does not match http://*.myspace.com/*

My template contains 2 different URLs of the form <a href="http://profile.myspace.com/Modules/Applications/Pages/Canvas.aspx?appId=...> so I don't understand what the problem is. I even get that error when I save my existing templates without even modifying them, so it appears as though something has changed on myspace's end.

I am trying to send a notification with a profile pic url. I am using the latest php SDK. The notification is sent, but there is not picture included.

The SDK is appending all these null values in the mediaItems. Could that be the issue? I am not clear as to where these are being set unfortunately or I would try removing them myself.

Hi, I've corrected the reasons for my apps denial and I'd like to know how to republish.

Reason 1: Profile and Home surface were not unique

Resolution: Removed the home surface

Reason 2: Canvas page did not load up in ie7

Resolution: fixed some javascript bugs in the code

application does not match the consumer key

Hi I am developing a test app for a client and am having issues with your sample popup implementation in PHP. and oAuth. I've been getting the following message in the url:openid.oauth.error=Relying+party%27s+associated+application+does+not+match+the+specified+consumer+key%2c+rejecting+OAuth+request

Conceptually, I understand what this means...that the apps consumer Key in myApps does not match the consumer key that is being sent via the sample code.

I have confirmed that the consumer key matches both my php code and that is in myApps. I get the popup screen to come up fine and the url has the correct consumer key and appID.

This is appID 165023

Then I sign into myspaceID and authorize my account. The error I get back is the massage above in the URL and on screen I get the PHP error Notice: Undefined index: request_token in C:\projects\pushKart\source\Auth\OpenID\OAuth.php on line 86 which I have determined is because of the error.

I would appreciate it if someone from the MDP team would get back to me as soon as possible regarding this.

Accessing a user's info.

I have written a basic app in which I am trying to get the info of a number of users. For some reason we cannot get info (except for the basic: displayName, hasApp, id, name, profileUrl, thumbnailUrl, isOwner, isViewer) on anyone except for the viewer. For the viewer I can get extended fields such as aboutMe. I was under the understanding that as long as the user was a Friend or an app user we would be able to get this info. The user I am trying to get the info for is both a friend and an app user. So what gives? Am I really restricted to only getting info on the viewer?

What are the notification content macros?

I'm not able to find anywhere in the documentation if there are any other macros out there. Does anyone know?

Access myspace calendar events from external website

I just wanted to know if I'm looking in the right place for developing a calendar on an external website which shows events from my myspace calendar. I've been looking at the REST and the events activity stream - but as this I'm not developing a myspace app (it will just be a request from an external website for the feed) I'm wondering if this will not work...

Could someone let me know if they think that I'm on the right track or not? Will the api requests work if coming from an external website?

Huge Ongoing issue with Myspace App

No matter what i do in the external IFrame URL I get something similar to this Error message

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Not getting MySpace extended fields returned from opensocial REST API

Opensocial is not working..

hello all,

I devloped application on facebook , now i am moving my app to myspace and i devloped it using external Iframe. But prob is that when i display app to other myspace user its shows "Sorry, the app is currently private. You must be a friend of the app to view this page.". then i searched and found i can get rid of this problem using openSocial. and i implement my app in opensocial but when i display the app where user does not install my app , same error are prompting. then i dignose the prob and found var os = opensocial.Container.get(); is not calling my opensocial.js. I tried and give lot of effort to do. but results are same and my app is not visible to other user...

please help me out

Hello Myspace devloper team. I am new in myspace application and i devloped successfully application in facebook. I am using external iframe for deploying my application but my probs is that the URL of application is like that http://profile.myspace.com/Modules/Applications/Pages/Canvas.aspx?appId=160598 and i created different folders in my application like x,y,z in my external website. its very easy in facebook to test my application becuase URL given by it like http://apps.facebook.com/exploreu_test/x/Students.aspx and now i want to see my content of Y folder then simply change URL http://apps.facebook.com/exploreu_test/y/Students.aspx and see changes in facebook easily..but in myspace its all in iframe . Is there any way to show content my different foldersthrough URL and if not....Please give me alternate for my problem.

I keep getting : "oauth_problem=signature_invalid" and can't work out why. My oauth code works with twitter and blogger so why is it failing here? My signature base is :

Script error on IE after Activities or notifications

Hello, after the user send an activity or app invitation there is a script error that blocks all other server requests. This happens just on IE.

Have you had the same problem? How to fix it?

I think the time in the activity streams is off.

When using python and feedparser to parse the atom feed created by get_activities and get_friends_activities, it appears that the timestamp given is way behind the time of the actual event. It appears as if the time is using possibly pacific time (didn't do the math, but it's close) but being presented as if it were GMT (Z).

These work fine for me with the creator profile of the game, but seeing the game is still private I have made numerous accounts to test this, I cannot even see the game or goto the game on another account, So im not sure how I can even program this to work If no other accounts can even see it?

The main account like I said shows it perfectly along with all the unique content. Every other profile only shows private. So how am I able to do this if its private and unviewable.

Something is obviously different for the admins of myspace to view it and show it incorrectly. And as for as I can tell its impossible to edit this until the game is no longer private.

8 Games Failed Approval Process?

My games don't require any special downloads for 98% of users since most people have Java installed. So are you really declining all Java applications? Or was this related to something unknown to me?

"Applications must offer functional utility to Users (e.g., the application is complete, all surfaces load and are properly formatted, no broken links, no typos, proper categorization). It is unclear what functionality your application provides to the MySpace user."

I don't have links, typos, and they are simple games with a single surface. So what gives? Do MySpace users not want to play games? I know I do and I am a MySpace user. What can I do to make a game have functionality to, "the MySpace user"?

Canvas does not load - well, it does 100%

I have developed an application with 5 games inbuild in an iframe in canvas, which loads properly, double checked with IE 8 and Firefox on two different PC.

Still I get this message from staff:

Loading Issue – All app surfaces must properly load. Loading issues are found on the following surface(s). On canvas, contains no functionality or service for the user, fails to load. Please read the Terms of Use and Application Guidelines.

Please provide more details on this and what should I do?

Background/document color of inline Flash

When I test my app as an I-frame, the document color is displayed correctly. When I test it as an Inline Flash, the background is white (might be transparent). Is there a way to allow the document color to show or to set the background color of an inline Flash? I've attempted to do this by setting background color with CSS in the apps profile, but this seems to have no effect.

Desktop app: signature_invalid via /access_token

A few months back I developed a C++/wxWidgets library for accessing MySpace REST. I'm now back on the project and am having issues authenticating via OAuth. The first thing I had to do is create a new API key (MySpaceID) as the old one apparently got converted into the wrong type. Everything now works as expected until I try to exchange my token with /access_token. When doing so, I get this response:

oauth_problem=signature_invalid

Now, here is the confusing part:

Using the online OAuth tool, I can enter the same input variables (nonce, timestamp, token, ...) and generate a query string: It is 100% identical to the one I am sending; If I then use the "Generate URI and Submit" option, I get the expected response: A authenticated token. However, the exact same URL sent from my client gets the above error back from the server.

To re-iterate:

My GET URL is 100% identical to that generated by the online OAuth tool
Using said URL, my client gets "oauth_problem=signature_invalid" as a response; The online OAuth tool gets the expected results (an authenticated token)

Is there something I'm missing here? Do I need to send additional data in the HTTP headers? Please help!
